 Olive Tree holiday cottage is set in a quiet, peaceful, rural location within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to the lively seaside town of Bude.

An ideal base to explore the local area and participate in some of the activities available…surfing, links golf, coasteering, fishing, walking on the scenic South West Coast Path…or… just chill out and relax!

Olive Tree is the largest of our three cottages and provides comfortable centrally heated and beautifully presented accommodation for 6 people.

Freshly decorated throughout, the downstairs comprises of a Handy Cloakroom off the large open plan Kitchen and Lounge. The recently updated kitchen is fully equipped with double oven,microwave,washing machine fridge and counter top freezer.

There are stunning views over the valley from the kitchen window and the kitchen features a traditional slate floor.

As well as comfortable seating for 6 people the living area has a dining table and chairs for 6 people, a flat-screen TV, CD and DVD players and a docking station.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. A double with en-suite shower room, a Twin and another double with views over the valley. 

The family bathroom benefits from a bath with overhead shower.

All bedrooms are fresh and bright and provide the perfect accommodation for a family group.

Outside, Olive tree there is ample car parking and a lovely enclosed Rose garden which is shared with Rosemary Cottage with outside seating.

On the other side of the property is a BBQ area with seating and delightful views over the valley.


All prices shown include all linen, towels, heating and electricity.

Travel cot and highchair available on request.
Please note that a £100 deposit is required at the time of booking. Payments to be made by personal cheque to : Widemouth Bay Trading Company Ltd.


Balance payable 4 weeks prior to holiday commencement date, by cheque or Bank transfer.

Arrivals from 2.30pm, please vacate by 10am on departure day.

Olive Tree Barn is situated in a rural area with a long gravel drive leading to a parking area for 3 large cars [additional parking is available].

Access to the property is gained via the gravel drive to a glass door with one step.The lounge and kitchen are open plan, with a downstairs cloakroom off of the lounge , consisting of a basin and w.c.

A glass door opposite the front entrance door leads to the Rose garden which is a paved enclosed area shared with Rosemary barn. A small table and chairs are located outside the property.

The staircase from the lounge has 14 steps leading to a landing. A double bedroom with a 6ft double bed and ensuite shower room with shower, basin and w.c. A twin bedroom with two single 6ft beds and a double bedroom with a 6ft double bed.

The bathroom has a bath/shower , basin and w.c.

A communal garden is off the gravel drive with lawn and bench seating.
